With a jig, I made 40 of these in 40 min.

The strips are shorn, the wholes are punch, and the shape is bent.

So... no dust, chips, heat, very little noise.

Here's another example of a jig on the arbor press.

This aluminum flat bar is so soft, maple dies worked fairly well.
